This Web Quest has been designed with you, the student, in mind. 

The purpose of this Web Quest is to help you understand the importance of the following:

  1. The cause and effect relationships between historical events.
  2. Contributions or accomplishments of individuals during the Renaissance.
  3. How an individual can contribute to a school or community.
  4. How humans respond to/ prepare for natural hazards in order to remain safe.
  5. How money, as opposed to barter, facilitates trade.  

Additionally, it is important for you to understand this information because each of these concepts affects your life in both small and large ways. The information that you will learn in this Web Quest will also help you to better understand how the world around you works and it will help you to become a more knowledgeable citizen.
