Welcome: Social Studies Benchmark: Charting the Course
Description: The purpose of this Web Quest is to help students gain understanding of various social studies strands that include American History, World History, Civics/Government, Geography, and Economics. For each of the strands mentioned the specific focus of the Web Quest will focus on: Analyze cause and effect relationships between historical events.Describe the contributions or accomplishments of individuals during the Renaissance.Describe ways an individual can contribute to a school or community.Identify the way humans respond to/ prepare for natural hazards (i.e., lightning, flash floods,dust storms, tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, earthquakes) in order to remain safe.Compare how money, as opposed to barter,facilitates trade.
