What does it take to be A Superhero?
Process
You will be assigned to a group. You and your partners will be comparing and contrasting the characteristics and powers of superheroes. Each of you will have a job. The group will need s to look for ways to compare (how things are alike) and (how things are different). Together you will work to complete the following tasks: 1. Students research – work on task sheets (Guided Questions, Traits from Books, Favorite Superheroes, Exploring Superheroes, My favorite Superhero) see websites below GUIDING QUESTIONS FOR EXPLORING SUPERHEROES List your favorite superheroes, where you found him or her, and what kind of traits he or she has. 3. Interactive class activities using whiteboard or individual tasks depending on classroom situations. This website offers printable activities and teacher tips and resources. B. How much do you know about superheroes? C. How much do you know about Superman? D. Here is a word search. The words are all tools that superheroes use, or things that they wear. (Hangman) 4.
