Festival celebrations

Today's classrooms need to incorporate certain pedagogical practices that involve the use of multiple forms of representation and multiple perspectives. Students need experiences that foster engaged learning, creative thinking and skills necessary to access new knowledge and solve problems in today's world of information and communication technology. This short-term WebQuest aims to promote students' intelligences and social skills  as well as to create positive attitudes towards using web resource-based learning tools in English.

Standards

The group under discussion consists of non-native learners of A2-B1 level in English according to the Common European Framework. The class size is 18 students aged between eleven(11) and twelve(12) years old in the sixth grade of a public primary school in Athens.
