Festival celebrations

In order to activate background knowledge, you are given different links to work with during the pre-reading activities , to comment and make guesses. The class is divided in two groups. Group A searches for information in the first link about the Quebec Winter Carnival. Then, you, group A, are asked to describe what you see in this site and ask group B to guess what kind of festival this is. The same procedure is followed with group B where you search the second link about Edinburgh military tattoo, make a brief description and ask group A to guess the kind of festival.
