The Discriminant: the Inside Scoop of the Quadratic Equation

In this investigation, you will be evaluating the discriminant of a variety of quadratic equations, graphing the equations, and determining the approximate roots of each equation from the graph.  You will then be asked to draw a conclusion regarding the value of the discriminant and the roots.
