The Lost Roanoke Colony

The colony of the nearly 100 missing people that disappeared from Roanoke Island in 1587 is referred to as the "Lost Roanoke Colony." The Lost Roanoke Colony is an incident in United States history that remains a mystery, yet to be solved. Your task is to investigate the Lost Roanoke Colony, reading some of the commonly believed theories of what happened to the people that inhabited Roanoke Island. Once you have thoroughly researched the Lost Roanoke Colony, you will create you own argument, in an attempt into persuade your audience into believing your theory of the fate of the Roanoke colonists. A reward will be given to the student who provides the best explanation as to why the the nearly 100 Roanoke colonists mysteriously disappeared.
