With the way we as individuals express ourselves you will have the opportunity to express your views about the specific task. You will have the chance to work independently or with a partner to demonstrate your understanding of Diabetes in particular Type II Diabetes. By preparing your multimedia project you will have the levity to express yourself  verbally, visually or musically in the delivery of your presentation. Using available resources for the WebQuest the following requirements must be completed.

  •       Conduct research on the definition of Diabetes Basics
  •       Conduct research on the causes of Diabetes
  •       Conduct research on the symptoms of Diabetes
  •       Prepare a Wordle cloud of information found on Diabetes during research
  •       Using the research findings apply them to the presented patient history as outlined in the Task
  •       Prepare a concept map to help prepare for the presentation of findings
  •       Prepare a presentation with your findings as it pertains to the patient
  •       Develop an exercise plan for the individual to address the areas of concern as outlined from your findings
  •       Develop a nutrition plan for the individual to address the areas of concern outlined from your findings
  •       Keep a reflective journal of your thoughts on Diabetes as it relates to you personally       


Specific Task for the following:


Technical Adviser:


In your role as technical adviser it will be your responsibility to prepare a video no longer than 5 minutes using crazytalk that will provide information to the client about Diabetes specifically Type 2. The video should include the following components.

  • Information provided from scientific adviser
  • Treatment plan provided from lifestyle coach


Lifestyle Coach:


In your role as lifestyle coach it will be your responsibility to prepare a brief report about type 2 diabetes as it relates to the client and develop a treatment plan to assist the client as a means to control the possible onset of Type 2 diabetes. The treatment plan should be presented in a style of your choosing. The treatment plan should contain information

  1. Nutrition plan
  2. Exercise plan
  3. Lifestyle plan

Team Leader:
