Creating a Business Plan Presentation

Learning Goal 1:I hope for my students to learn how to create a business plan while thinkingabout all the criteria that go into creating a business; such as advertising,profit projections, prospective demographic, and method of delivering productto the masses. Students will research big businesses while creating theirplans.

            Learning Objective 1: Students willpresent their plan to the rest of the class (prospective investors) with theirpartner by creating a PowerPoint presentation.

            Learning Objective 2: Students willmeasure their understanding of how businesses can change the world whileresearching how to create their business plan.

Learning Goal 2: Ihope for my students to learn how to use MS Power Point by creating an imaginative,eye-catching business presentation.  Theywill be given the option to use different designs, animations, fonts, colors,and images to create their presentations.

            Learning Objective 1:  Students will construct a presentationwith their partners that show their understanding of the tools that MicrosoftPowerPoint has to offer.

            Learning Objective 2: After viewing thePowerPoint tutorial and the sample PowerPoint provided on the website studentswill operate MS PowerPoint efficiently.

Learning Goal 3: Ihope for my students to recall their background knowledge of the IndustrialRevolution while researching the businessmen and their plans that helped sparkthe Industrial Revolution so that they can see how these men and their planscan help them create their own business plans.

            Learning Objective 1: Students willexplain how the businessmen of the Industrial Revolution created theirrevolutionary businesses in their online journal.

            Learning Objective 2: Students willcompare and contrast the four primary businessmen and their business plans thathelped revolutionize the industrial world as well as their own business plan bywriting in their online journal.

Learning Goal 4: Ihope for my students to discover the world of audio recording using the Audacitysoftware when creating their radio commercial for their business presentation.

            Learning Objective 1: Students willrecord their own 30-60 second radio commercial discussing theirbusiness/product as part of their advertising pitch for their investors using Audacitysoftware.

            Learning Objective 2: Students willpractice using Audacity software during the creation of their radio commercial;using their various tools that the software has to offer to ensure that theircommercial is top quality.
