Have you always wanted to get in shape, but don't know how?  The hardest thing about starting a fitness plan, is...Getting Started!!  That's right, getting started is the hardest part, so in this web-quest you will learn the basics of fitness, and how to create a plan that allows you to have fun, exercise, and be successful.  This can be a positive experience that you customize to you.  The only competition is with yourself.  Your personal fitness knowledge and goal setting abilities will become a strong point after this quest.  Taking this trip around the internet viewing videos, sites, and articles will provide you with the foundation to tackle any fears or misconceptions you have about physical fitness and exercise.  You will explore The 5 Components of Fitness, FITT Principle, Target Heart Rate, Types of Activities, and finally Goal Setting and Creating a Plan.  Keep an open mind and remember anyone can exercise and improve their fitness.  Motivation is in everyone, but does everyone use what they have??  Everything you need is already inside YOU!
