Congratulations! You have finished your WebQuest on researching what the three Rutgers campuses have to offer and also begun your application essay.  Hopefully through the reflections, charts, research, and interviews, you further understand key aspects about college and yourself better than you did before.  My lesson plan involved differentiated learning, in which you were able to use different formats to construct your learning.  These formats included charts, spoken interviews, partner work, and reflections/essays.  I targeted your interests by asking you to look within yourself and choose both a major and essay topic on your differences. I also allowed you to research three different campuses, rather than our home campus in Camden. I gave you various questions and a lot of free range to write on, hoping that you would find a topic that would peak your interests. I also attached documents and videos for extra help.  I really wanted everyone to be aware of the abundance of opportunities available at Rutgers and how diverse the school really is.  Lastly, I wanted to ease you into the college essay because I know that it can be a pain to write.  Hopefully through my secretive way of presenting the essay, you were able to easily pick an essay topic and really dive into the writing process.

I learned through this WebQuest that there are so many elements having to do with the college decision process. Being out of high school for over four years now, I think I forgot about how stressful researching colleges can be and I hope that my WebQuest made it easier and alleviated some stress!
