Task

As a time traveling explorer it is your job to experience first hand what it was like to be amongst the hysteria of the Salem Colony in 1692. You are being sent back to the period just before the infamous hanging of Salem citizen John Proctor and you will take the guise of one of the community members. We have set the safety filters on and we will be monitoring your progress. If there is any danger, we will pull you back to the present immediately.

Since this time has few historical records, you will need to compile a personal report of your experiences. The report of your investigation will be priceless for those unable to time travel due to weak hearts.  Please focus your notes on what it was like to be accused, what the mentality toward witchcraft was like at the time, and how accused witches were dealt with. Also, remember as you're investigating the causes of these trials to begin with. Are these trials really results of witchcraft in the community? Or does it seem to be more of a pointing fingers game? What do these supposed assumptions say about the Puritan religion?
