Disability: Then and Now

In groups of three, you will critically look at how disability issues have evolved over the years. You will watch a video on Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, choose from a list of famous people with disabilities and research their biography, and read two articles about current issues. You will then write a letter to our senators describing the progress we have made so far and make suggestions about further improvements to ensure equality for all.
