Disability: Then and Now

Unlike other minority group whose struggles have been documented and studied, the history of people with disabilities have been largely ignored and forgotten. Despite being the nation�s largest minority group, this group of people have been marginalized and discriminated against. Fortunately, disabled activism is growing as more and more people are becoming integrated into society. You are about to explore some of the gains that people with disabilities have fought for, and on the other side of that coin, look at the struggles that they still face today.
