Crossing America with Native American Tribes

After this journey, each member of your tribe will become an expert about Native American life.   Each tribe member will research one of the topics: foods your tribe ate, shelter (Where did they live?) (What did their houses look like?), clothing, or job, and tools/transportation they used.  

The sites listed below will help you as you explore and begin your research about your selected Native American tribe. You will find that some of the tribes have more than one link of helpful and interesting information.

Don't forget to have fun on your journey, because I know you will have a lot to say once you return from this interesting journey!

Step 1: Start by printing out your research questionnaire paperwork.  One member from your tribe will print the group paperwork for the entire tribe.

Step 2:  Once you have found your tribe name below, then “click” on the links.

Step 3: The sites listed below will help you in your journey to answer the questions.

Step 4: After you have completed your research, check with the teacher to make sure you've completed everything you need to work on your presentation.

Step 5: Now, you can move on to the presentation!
