Senior Project

Tarot cards are a type of Italian playing cards used for divination. Pictured above are some cards from the Traditional Rider-Waite tarot card deck. The traditional deck contains 78 cards. The Major Arcana contains 22 cards numbered with roman numerals I to XXI and The fool which is unnumbered. The Minor Arcana contains 54 cards divided into four suits. The four suits are Wands, Cups, Swords, and Coins and they each contain 14 cards. I will be making my own deck of cards based on the traditional decks. I will take care to keep the original meaning and symbols used in the traditional tarot decks in my design.
