WWII and the Pacific Theater

This Webquest was designed for 10th graders studying World War 2.  It is assumed the students are reasonably self-directed, which is why the instructions in the Process section are minimized.  It is hoped that different groups will chose different battles to report on, so the presentations will have some variety. 

Assumption is that students have access to adequate number of computers in the classroom, and that each student has access to a computer at home.  Students must also have a working knowledge of MS PowerPoint, or Google Slides, or some other presentation application, in order to create their presentations.

This is intended as a supplement to a unit on World War II.  It assumes the class is already familiar with the political leaders involved with the conflict, and is familiar with the timeline of major events related to WWII from 1932 through 1945.
