WWII and the Pacific Theater

Students will work in groups of 2 -3.  

Each group will create a powerpoint presentation that they will present to the entire class.  

There are 5 Steps to this WebQuest:

1. Leaders - Groups will select 2 leaders from the 4 offered, one from the US and one from Japan.  Groups will create at least one Powerpoint page for each leader, answer the basic questions plus any extra information the group found interesting.
2.  Pearl Harbor - Groups will gather information from the links offered and create at least one Powerpoint page to answer the basic questions plus any extra information the group found interesting.
3. Battles in the Pacific - Groups will select one of the 4 battles offered. Groups will create at least two Powerpoint pages to answer the basic questions plus any extra information the group found interesting.
4. Atomic Bomb - Group will create at least one Powerpoint page to answer the basic questions plus any extra information the group found interesting.
5. Reflection - Create at least one Powerpoint page expressing the group's opinion about whether it was right for the US to drop atomic bombs on Japan.
