The main point of this web quest is to educate students on the rules of hockey, and potentially entice them into playing a fun and intense game.  I played hockey in addition to other sports as a child, and felt that hockey was the most demanding in terms of high intensity training.  I also feel that it improved my overall fitness level similar to that of a track athlete.   I know that a lot of people watch sports on TV and are hesitant about trying to participate themselves.  I hope that students may decide to play hockey and enhance their own personal fitness.
