I learned a lot from this WebQuest. By constructing the order of activities I had to think about my ultimate goal and how I could guide students to achieve that goal. I tried to include some aspect of higher-level thinking in each day of the WebQuest activities. I geared this WebQuest towards students with a reading exceptionality by making most of the links have videos. When I asked students to read an article I made sure the article was fairly clear to understand. I intend this to be used in a US history class, which, here in New Mexico, often takes place in either 11th or 12th grade. As a result, I tried to make everything written to a 8th or 9th grade reading level. Even the final project, the newspaper article, is an example of the lower reading level. In America, most newspaper articles are written at or below an 8th grade reading level.
