Teaching Geography's Five Themes

This webquest lesson plan is about lesson to instruct students on the five themes of geography, how the five themes impact people's lives. In addition lessons on how historical events and people impact students and a final lesson on economics and how it impacts students. 

The activities were designed to cover three days but would be more beneficial if delivered over a five day class schedule.

Concept 5: Environment and Society, PO 1. Describe ways that human dependence on natural resources influences economic development, settlement, trade, and migration.
Strand 5: Economics
Concept 1: Foundations of Economics, PO 2. Determine how scarcity, opportunity costs, and trade-offs influence decision-making.
