Pure Substances: Atoms and Elements!

This webquest is intended to introduce atoms and elements to students in grades 6-8. With the use of a series of captivating songs and videos, as well as websites with online quizzes, the students will be able to answer some worksheet questions on atoms and elements. These will be reviewed in class or handed in for marking. They will then choose an element to advertise or "sell" through a differentiated choice of processes and final products. The evaluation rubric used to evaluate this final product is included.
