Introduction
Pure Substances and Mixtures! Everything around us is made from pure substances and mixtures but what is a pure substance?
We are made primarily from four pure substances: Oxygen, Carbon, Nitrogen and Hydrogen, but as a body we are a mixture!
There are over 100 elements on the periodic table of elements and everything in this world is made from one or more of them!
After this webquest activity you will have a greater appreciation of what an atom and element are, and how they act as the building blocks for all other substances-living or non-living!
