Benjamin Franklin

We will be creating a book on Benjamin Franklin.

Your groups will consist of 2 - 3 members. You will complete a total of 5 tasks throughout the week.

Task 1

Your first task is to create a timeline / chart of Benjamin Franklin's life

1. You will construct a timeline on construction paper.
2. Write the inventions on the timeline by the year it was made.
3. Write any important contributions and the year on the timeline 

Task 2

Your second task is to use a world map to locate all the places Benjamin Franklin traveled to

1. You will use a world map that the teacher will provide
2. Mark and number the places on the map that he traveled to
3. Make a chart and label the cities and states he traveled to

Task 3

Your third task is to make a sketch of one of Benjamin Franklin's inventions, then and now

1. You will use construction paper to sketch your work
2. Create a sketch of how the invention looked like then and what you think it looks like now
3. Write 2 - 3 facts about the invention
4. If you were Benjamin, what you would charge today for it and why?

Task 4

Your fourth task is to write a one page paper about Benjamin Franklin

1. You and your partner will chose 2 - 3 facts about Benjamin Franklin
2. You will combine the facts into a one page paper

Task 5

Your fifith task is to complete a multiple choice worksheet as well as create your cover page for your book

1. You will circle the correct answer that fits the blank of each question
2. Create your cover for book
