Let's create comics
Task
Final task for the students, the outcome of the project:
- In groups of 4-5 Ss create their own comic books. They can either develop their own original stories, or transform a well-known literary work, fairy tale into a comics.
- Ss may choose the format of the comic books: digital or drawings.
- The project focuses on the following grammar items: interrogatives, past tense, imperatives and modals. Ss should use at least 1 examples on each gr.form.
- Comic book should consist of at least 10 pages and 3 characters.
1) In teams, Ss look at comic books, discuss and establish its parts and do an exercise;
2) In teams, Ss develop their story line, characters, the beginning and ending of their story; decide the form of their comic book (digital - made on the computer, drawings on the paper with pencils, wet paints).
3) Ss make presentations of their final work;
