The Gift

In the next 10 days, you will be making a quilt to give Mrs. Smith.  In order to complete this task you need to learn something about quilts!  You will be working with a partner to explore different web sites and text references to find out about the history of quiltmaking, the geometry found in quilts, and the process of constructing a quilt square.  You will be investigating patterns and color choices and applying your new knowledge of sewing to create your piece of the class quilt.
