Do you know the Parts of Speech?

You are the teacher! Imagine you are the teacher for the day.  Your high school has been participating in a mentor program with the elementary school next door.  You have a group of 3rd graders visiting your school next week.  They will be experiencing a day in the life of a high schooler, and they will be getting a lesson in each subject.  You are responsible for the English Language Arts section, or more specifically, the parts of speech!  You may be thinking, "Oh no!  It's been awhile since I've studied that!" Your job is to get a partner and review the parts of speech.  Together, you will make a Prezi to review the definitions and explore examples for each part of speech with the 3rd graders. Finally, using the knowledge you've learned/reviewed, you will create Mad Libs so the students can practice their new skill and have a full understanding of the eight parts of speech.  More importantly, they will know how they work, and how to use them properly.
