A Journey through Canadian Education

During this quest, you will find information on the Canadian educational system and create a final product of your choice (book, slideshow, powerpoint,etc).  At the end, you will share your project with the class as if you were introducing your new friend to their new class.

Things that you will learn about are:

1. Educational opportunities based on sex and socio-economic status
2. Subjects taught
3. The purpose of education
4. The primary methods of transmission of information in education
5. The kinds of technologies that were introduced in these cultures
6. Individuals who had an influence on the development and practice of education in this area
7. What education is like today and how it has evolved
8. The impact these cultures have on the practice of education, as we know it today
