The Basketball Official

1. The student will read the article on the basketball official.                                                                                                                                   After reading the article student will type a paragraph on the duties and responsibilities of the referee.
2. The student will locate the article link on NBA famous referees. Students will read through the biographies of the referees and               select three to write about. Students will then type a 1 page paper discussing the careers of these three officials
3. The student will locate the article on those officials who are considered to be the best and worst in their field today. They will type        a paragraph summary of the article.
4. The student will read an article on the rise of the female basketball official. Students will read the article on Dee Kantner and type        a 1 page paper on the basketball life of this female pioneer.
