Basketball Officiating

This concludes our brief look back at basketball officiating. Hopefully you have learned what a basketball referee does, who were some of the early pioneers of the game, who by modern standards are considered the best and the worst, and how women have come to impact the game both at the collegiate level and now in the professional ranks. As the game of basketball grows and evolves some will and must the officials, in the next webquest we will look at other world organizations like FIBA and what impact they are having on how basketball games are being officiated.
