Process

If the dough is kneaded softly then it does not need to be left to rest after the flour mixture is made, then separated into smaller pieces and formed into balls.

Step 1: Using your fingers, flatten the dough balls

Step 2: Make a paste using 1 tbsp of butter, 1 tsp of cookeen and 1 tsp of oil (Per Dough) and then spread the paste on one side of the dough

Step 3: Stack the pasted dough on top each other. The stack size should depend on the size of the tawa. If the tawa is a small tawa used at home then one dough will be sufficient. If the tawa is very large then 5-7 dough can be used according to your preference.

Step 4: Cover the stacks and set aside to rest for 30 minutes
