INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

1. Choose two women you believe have been the most influential throughout history. The following are some websites that will help you find information about important women:

2. Find evidence to support your choices and create a Google document following this sample.

3. Once all students have recorded their choices, you can all review, add information,expand ideas, provide counterarguments, etc.
 
4. Arrange a time for having a Hangout to discuss and take the final decision on the two candidates you will create the presentation about.
 
5. Having reached a consensus, Student 1 will be the �Script Writer�; he/she will be in charge of expanding the notes into a script for your presentation and include it in the same Google doc.
 
6. Student 2 will be the �Enriching Agent�; he/she will be in charge of enriching that script by introducing vocabulary registered so far in our Quizlet glossary and grammar structures (e.g. Subjunctive, Reversals, Participle Clauses, etc.).
 
7. Student 3 will be The Editor; he/ she will check grammar accuracy, vocabulary appropriateness and organization of ideas, clarity of introduction and conclusion and content.
 
8. Once the script is ready, one of you will create a Prezi and invite the other two students as collaborators in the creation of the presentation. Thus, the three students will be co-creators of this presentation.
 
Guidelines to create the Prezi:

• It should last 3-5 minutes
• Audio should be added to it (the three students MUST participate in the oral contribution)
• Do not read your scripts � This requires that you are all familiar with your parts and that you sound as natural as possible when recording it
• You can include background music to your presentation as long as it does not interfere with your voice recordings.
• Include as few words as possible and as many pictures as you wish provided the transitions are smooth
• If you decide to include any YouTube video, etc., bear in mind that this will not replace the oral contributions expected from students.
