Process

Our marvelous jounrney in the Elizabethan era has just begun!!!

Follow my instructions below carefully in order to do the tasks that follow!

Stage 1

I would like you to take a look at the following questions first. These are some questions which hold important information concerning my personal life.

When was I born and when did I die?

What was unusual about me as a queen?

Why did my father cancel the celebrations after I was born?

What were my siblings' names?

How long was I imprisoned in the Tower of London for?

What did the people yell when they saw me at the coronation and why?

Why did the Catholics dispute me as a queen?

Who had sent the Spanish Armada to attack my ships?

Whose plays were mostly performed in The Globe?

I want you to read through the information provided in the Resources section below and by taking into consideration the above questions, try to locate the information required and answer them.

Stage 2

It's time to check your degree of attention now!!!!

Using all this information I would like to check your concentration when reading about my life. You will be given a worksheet (Worksheet A) with the names of people that played an important part in my life. Write down a description next to each name, determining each person's relation to my life. You will find the worksheet for this task in the word document below (Worksheet A).

For the next task I want you to be seperated into groups of four. I want you to take a look at the links with information relevant to my extraodinary portraits (Aren't they stunning?) and after you do this I want you to try towrite down the names of each of the portraits given in the links below.

In addition, I also want you to write down a short description concerning the symbolism in each of the portraits. You will find the worksheet for this task in the word document below (Worksheet B).

Now that you have completed your exploration in my life and time of reign, I want you to proceed by completing a short quiz that I have created about myself. Each of you has to take the quiz on his/her own, however you should co-operate with each other as some information has not been taken especial attention by everyone (especially information about my portraits).
