The Tudor Queen

During the Process stage, you will be evaluated on all stages.


In stage 1 (Introductory Questions), you are given some comprehension questions which mainly have the aim of introducing you to the topic of the Webquest and your understanding of the information given.



Stage 2 is divided on two different parts.

On the first part (Elizabeth's acquaintances), you are required to work on a given worksheet. In order to fill it in, you have to read through the given information more intensively trying to specify the relation of each of the names given to my life.


On the second part (Elizabeth's portraits), you are requested to do a webquest in order to find information concerning some portraits of mine. In this part, you are required to work into small groups and not individually. You are expected to identify the names of the portraits given and write down information relevant to the symbolism of the portraits given.

Immediately after the above task, you are requested to read through some information related to the issue of Tudor clothing and its symbolism portrayed in important portraits of the time. This acts as a furher exploration on the topic of the particular webquest, reinforcing even further the idea of symbolism in paintings of mine.

Stage 3 (The Tudor Queen quiz) is the last part of my webquest. You are expected to be evaluated on how attentive you were throughout the whole quest. The specific quiz you are expected to take evaluates the successful research on all aspects of the webquest provided.  However, you need to perform certain steps in order to successfully take the quiz. Therefore, you are also evaluated on the successful completion of the quiz provided and on the degree of cooperation with the rest of the classmates as certain questions are possible to be completed easier with the help of the rest of the classmates.
