The 1960s: A Decade of Change

Have you ever wished that time machines were real?  Wouldn't it be awesome if you could just jump in a device that would take you to any time period you desired (just like the DeLorean from Back to the Future!)?  Here's your chance to get as close to that reality as possible!  For this project you will be submersing yourself into the 1960s, a time of violence, change and hope.  You will be working in small groups to teach each other about the 1960s.  Individually, and as a group, you will be deciding what you believe to be the most important events during that time period.  You will need to do your research well, because not only will you be putting together a PowerPoint of your events but you will have to explain why you chose those events and why you believe they are the most important.  Finally, your group will be creating a historical recreation of the events from the 1960s that you chose which you will film, edit and present to the rest of the class.  Get ready to set that clock back in time and have a fun journey!
