Dear Design Teams,

Our generation is reaching a critical time as we are starting to realize we can possibly run out of energy sources and need to make the change to renewable energy sources. But what about our military in remote locations where it is often hard to provide the energy needed. Even more importantly, how can we provide them with emergency medical services in these locations where electricity is not readily available?

You will be in groups of 3-4 and will be given a remote location- some will be for the military and others will be in locations in developing countries that we can offer our assistance to provide them with quality emergency care.

In your group you will need to research and make a design for an emergency room in your remote location. Once you have researched what is required and guidelines for developing an emergency room you will make a design using your smartphone/tablet. Then you will need to research your given location to determine what form of renewable energy would be best to power your emergency room in order for it to be sustainable for an elongated period of time.
