Giving a Voice - House on Mango Street Webquest

A recurring theme of House on Mango Street is the ability to speak one's truth, to speak for one's self. Esperanza provides a voice for many of the characters in the novel, but there are two that are still a mystery: Mamacita and Geraldo. These characters both experienced conflicts directly related to immigration. The reader never gets to know the full story of how the character got to the United States (Geraldo) or how the character dealt with the transition of living in a new country (Mamacita).

Your job is to investigate immigration between Mexico and the United States in order to create an informative brochure.
