Delexia Massey's E-Portfolio

My name is Delexia Latrice Massey. I live in Birmingham, Alabama. As a child, I attended Holy Family Elementary School where I enjoyed playing volleyball, became a cheerleader, and ran track. I graduated from Holy Family Elementary School, then continued my educational conquest at A.H. Parker High School. As a student at Parker High School, I was a member of the school choir, Key Club, and volleyball team. After four motivating years in high school, I graduated with Honors. After high school, I attended Jacksonville State University located in Jacksonville, Alabama. While at Jacksonville State University, I decided Elementary Education was the major for me.

Now, I am currently a student at Miles College and completing my degree in Elementary Education. I am an honor student and currently a member of Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society.  My experience at Miles College has been enlightening and highly rewarding; I have learned a great deal from my professors. I have heightened my educational growth by working closely with my cooperating teachers at Minor Community School where I completed my internship as a student teacher.

I have a passion for education. I believe educators have the perfect opportunity to provide vital information and tools to enhance the education of each child.
