Follow your dreams to learn a language and don't let anyone or anything stop you, and what is more “never ever give up”.  As you can see below, in this webquest you will realize that through the art as content and through the words as a language, you will be able to learn and practice English, as well as decipher the hidden messages that go beyond words in contemporary art.

Mind the old saying, “A Picture is worth more than a thousand words” that refers to the thought that a complex idea can be conveyed with a single image. I would also point out that, in a certain way, nothing is as it seems, and sometimes a picture needs words to supplement, change or contradict its meaning. We can find a huge range of examples in the world of advertisements, in graphic design or in titles of artworks, among other fields.

However, what about an artwork which uses words, or is made by words?
