Choctaw Indians and the Trail of Tears

Evaluation

20151130102832equBa.jpg

You will be graded on your Choctaw Letters that you wrote. I will be looking for thorough explanations of who you are and what you are going through. I want to see plenty of facts that we have learned today incorporated into the letter so that it is realistic. I will also be looking for rich, descriptive vocabulary. You will need at least two well-developed paragraphs that are 4-6 sentences in length. You should have at least 3 facts in each paragraph, as well as 3 descriptive adjectives. Also be sure that you use proper punctuation, grammar, and capitalization.

You will also be graded on the class performance of the Choctaw re-enactment. Those of you who are reading will need to read with emotion. Those of you who are acting out the Trail of tears will need to consider choosing creative movements that align with each step of the Trail of Tears that I outlined in the Process Section. You will also need to make sure that your movements are in the proper order in which they actually happened.
