Civil War/Dividing line between North and South

Students will provide a written report on their findings about the events leading up to the Civil War, information on the major battles and their aftermath. Please relate some issues in our country at present that harken back to the civil conflict of the 1860s. In your report please include two differing points of view of an event, either before, during or after the war.

The final product of your power point projects will be evaluated by me to determine your final grade.
The presentation will also count for your final grade. Make sure to use proper speech techniques when presenting, this will be graded as well.
Each day of research and power point preparation will also be part of the final grade.
Your power points will be checked to make sure that all the required information is included.
Also, the organization and creativity will be graded. Make sure you take your time and do your best.
