Cold War Foreign Policy Webquest

Through this webquest, hopefully you realized how many global events affected the U.S. during the Cold War and how varied those affects were. There were successes and failures, but in the end America prevailed. Although the U.S. hoped to contain communism within the Soviet Union and prevent it from spreading elsewhere, that goal ultimately failed. Still today, there are several communist nations whose origins began during the Cold War, and still have negative relationships with the U.S. Try to research these countries and determine how our decisions today can still impact our perception, not only within those countries, but around the world as well.
