Discovering the Milky Way

The alien was very impressed with Mrs. Hirtz' class and their presentations.  The research shared was comprehensive and  well presented. The alien is going back to his  planet to arrange a committee to answer the questions that we collectively decided were the ten questions we thought were most important. He promised to come back or skype before the end of the semester. He also left some great resources he had found while he was here and challenges all of you to find out as much as you can about current events in astronomy around the world.
