Welcome: Renaissance Biographies
Description: The Renaissance was a cultural movement that began in Italy in about 1350 and later spread throughout western Europe. Developments were made in most intellectual pursuits including the arts, science, literature, and more. The Portland Art Museum is planning an exhibition on six of the most significant contributors to the Renaissance. They need biographers to help put the exhibition together. Students will research the life and contributions of a particular historical figure, and then create a display demonstrating what they have learned.
