Explore the Caribbean

This WebQuest is an excellent avenue to pursue for students to learn about the Caribbean Islands. The students will work independently and as a result they will gain a great deal of responsibility for their own learning. Be a facilitator, allow them to be creative in the process. Share your thoughts on what you have observed, but allow the project to be a representation of the student. Offer suggestions, but make sure to be specific that you are suggesting not telling them how to do the assignment.

I would like to seize this opportunity to extend gratitude to Dr. Everette A. Ryan of the University of the Virgin Islands, School of Education. Dr. Ryan has been instrumental in providing me the instruction to utilize technology in my teaching career. Moreover, in addition to many other pertinent concepts that Dr. Ryan taught, the WebQuest was a major component, as we were guided to create our own. The aforementioned has been a very rewarding experience as the WebQuest is an excellent and creative opportunity to assess student.
