The People of the State of California v. George Milton

This WebQuest should be used for high school level english and literature classes. The WebQuest can be used as a way for students to really understand the characters’ actions in the story and be able to apply it to a real life situation. It is also an informational activity on how the court systems work.

Standards

CC.1.2: Reading Informational Text: Students read, understand, and respond to informational text--with emphasis on comprehension, making connections among ideas and between texts with focus on textual evidence.

CC. 1.2.9-10.B: Cite strong and thorough textual evidence to support analysis of what the text says explicitly as well as inferences and conclusions based on an author's explicit assumptions and beliefs about the subject.
