Goals:  Students will compare and contrast information gathered from analysis of both primary and  secondary sources.  Students will make inferences fromi nformation gathered from primary sources to  base their answers to the following questions.    

1.      In your opinion did the events of their early lives have a great impact on their later life? Support  your answer with facts.

2.      Did the times make the man great, or did the man make the times great?

 

Students will pick one of these three options to complete as their final project. 

1.      Make a power point presentationsof their findings

2.      Will write a paper based on their findings

3.      Make a video based on their findings.

The following items must be included in the final project.

3.      Lick life

4.      Buchanan�s life

5.      Compare and contrast Lick and Buchanan.

6.      Do the tombs/memorials  of the man reflect the contributions they made in their life?

7.      In your opinion did the events of their early lives have a great impact on their later life? Support  your answer with facts.

8.      Did the times make the man great, or did the manmake the times great?  Support your answer with facts.
