How Plants Absorb Water
Evaluation
One of the main purposes of this experiment is to get students excited about learning as soon as they enter school. Because of this, the evaluation process is not meant to be taxing. Instead, it is meant to reward all of the students for their enthusiasm and participation in a fun science experiment. A teacher would expect the entire class to earn 9-point scores as long as they followed directions, fully participated and were not disruptive to their classmates. As educators we all have a duty to instill the love of learning in each and every student--the earlier, the better.
