Application of Psychology

After completing this assignment, the student will gain an understanding and appreciation for individuals with a mental illness, developmental disorder, and/or impairment.  The student will value the importance of understanding and utilizing their knowledge and experience within their chosen careers.  Expanding the student’s perspective on those with certain issues will foster their abilities to be a considerate and supportive member of any employment agency.  Viewing other resources that encourage insight and consciousness into other mental illnesses, developmental disorders, and/or impairments will add to the student’s repertoire of invaluable skills.
