Application of Psychology

After completing this assignment, the student will gain an understanding and appreciation for individuals with a mental illness, developmental disorder, and/or impairment.  The student will value the importance of understanding and utilizing their knowledge and experience within their chosen careers.  Expanding the student�s perspective on those with certain issues will foster their abilities to be a considerate and supportive member of any employment agency.  Viewing other resources that encourage insight and consciousness into other mental illnesses, developmental disorders, and/or impairments will add to the student�s repertoire of invaluable skills.
