Welcome: Nominate a Book!
Description: Students will engage in a variety of pre-reading techniques designed to support comprehension by choosing from a list of books we will read as a class this year. Students will use a variety of web resources to learn about several books and their authors, and will use what they learn to complete a graphic organizer comparing and contrasting two of the books. They will then choose their favorite, and will design a poster so that the whole class can later vote on which book we will read first! (Photo by Suad Kamardeen on Unsplash)
